 Bates Wharf Marine Sales are part of W Bates and Son who are one of the oldest boat companies on the Thames today and were established over 100 years ago as Taylor and Bates.
In 1934, W Bates and Son was formed. Established in 1992 by David de Vere and Richard Bates, Bates Wharf Marine Sales is now well known as one of the leading boat brokers on the River Thames and specialist in the Sports Boat and Sports Cruiser Market.
We also have an established office within Sovereign Yacht Harbour in Eastbourne which facilitates our expansion into the sailing market and larger power boats. We have a wide selection of new and used craft and are agents for the following new boat manufacturers:- Chris Craft, Bayliner, Sessa Marine, Beneteau, Fletcher, Imtermare and Maxum.

All boats for sale are presented in a clean and tidy condition. Where possible we try to give each customer a guided tour of the boats that interest them.
