Public Cruises

Hobbs provide a number of speciality cruises for which members of the public can purchase individual tickets. There is a wide variety of themes. With daytime and evening sailings you should find a cruise that appeals to you. The cruises operate on a pre-booked basis. These cruises are very popular so early booking is recommended.

All cruises, except where otherwise stated, depart from Hobbs of Henley Boatyard, Station Road, Henley-on-Thames, RG9 1AZ. Sailings are subject to river conditions and lock closures. All vessels operate no-smoking policies inside, but smoking is permitted in designated outside areas.

Public River Trips

Our passenger vessels Consuta, Hibernia and Waterman operate frequent fare paying river trips on the beautiful Henley Royal Regatta reach between Marsh Lock and Hambleden Lock.

The river trips depart from and return to our boatyard at Station Road and last either 60 or 75 minutes. Each trip features an informative pre-recorded commentary.

Bookings are taken in advance on the day of the trip only and customers are recommended to telephone on the day to confirm availability and timings.

The river trips operate from Easter to September 30th at the following provisional times: March, April, May, June and September sailing 3.00pm, July and August sailing 2.30pm and 3.45pm
