Head Chef Peter Woods (ex-Tante Claire, The Belvedere, The Savoy) combines the simple with the clever and daring, and is passionate about sourcing fresh ingredients for his excellent Modern British menu (loyal to his and Christian's West Country origins).  You may even find he.s caught the Seabass himself at his boat in Newhaven.  Dishes include Brixham Mussels steamed in Doom Bar Ale and .Devon Red. From the middle of the south side of the Cathedral and you will see a lovely wide walkway taking you down to the river. Just before you get to the Millennium Bridge nip down some stairs to your left. You will then be on the river walkway and if you look to your left you will see NORTHBANK about 30m in front of you.
