Described by locals as warm, welcoming and cosy  The Angel on the Bridge is Henley’s only
pub which is actually situated on the River Thames, and it attracts many visitors to the town. The River Thames Guide is delighted to recommend The Angel on the Bridge Henley on Thames as one of the joint winners of our "Best Local 2010" competition as voted for by River Thames Guide viewers.  For more information visit www.riverthames.co.uk  Mark Dunlop of The Angel on the Bridge comments "It's nice to be recognised for all we have done over the past four years and that people enjoy our food and service in our lovely riverside setting."

During the summer the riverside terrace offers outdoor eating, socialising and a relaxing area to escape and watch the river go by. Shared with the local swans and wildlife the Angel on the Bridge is a popular place during the day and evening for business luncheons, a coffee break, or just a quiet drink to escape from the shopping, while the colder evenings invite you inside to experience the log fire, the friendly atmosphere, the great food and the local beer.

The Angel on the Bridge has new moorings which allow room for up to two boats to call in and have a bite to eat.  It is an idyllic location for walkers and cyclists taking on the towpath along the Thames - simply cross over the bridge if walking from Marlow, or cross over at Marsh Locks if walking from Shiplake.
