The Red Lion is a warm, welcoming pub, situated in the
heart of the Chiltern Hills. As you come into the pub you are greeted by our friendly team of staff. In the winter there are large roaring fires which make a cosy atmosphere and we have had cosy wood burning stoves installed. If you need a cigarette we have a sheltered, heated smoking area. In the summertime we have a spacious beer garden with a big play area to amuse the children, to free up the parents for a couple of hours.
There is ample parking at the front of the pub also there is lovely scenery in the area if you would rather a nice walk to the pub. We also have a disabled entrance at the side of the building.
The Red Lion is open all day from 11am and food is served Monday- Friday 12-3 and 6-9pm. On Saturday food is served all day, and on Sunday from 12-6pm. There is an extensive menu, containing a range of homemade pub food from steaks and burgers to nachos and curry. We have added basket meals from £6.50 and Red Lion Basics at £3.95 to help with winter savings, and there is also a selection for children. We have a vegan menu ranging from jacket potatoes and casseroles to fajitas and much more. We are a dog friendly pub! Not only do the owners get a treat but there's always treats for the dogs.
