Northbank Restaurant

Located near to the Millennium Bridge on the north side of the river, Northbank was created and opened by Christian Butler (ex-Adam Street and Baltic) in September 2007.  Northbank offers a Modern British menu with exceptional ingredients sourced from around the UK. Fresh fish is delivered daily from day boats off the Cornish coast.

'Good food and a great view across the Thames'- Fay Maschler, The Evening Standard

Northbank's terrace has spectacular views of the Millennium Bridge, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and the Tate Modern and is just a short walk from St Paul's Cathedral.

Head Chef John Harrison is passionate about sourcing British ingredients for his monthly changing menu. See our a la carte and special offer menus here

Party menus are available for groups including 3 course set menus, bowl food, canapes and a terrace menu perfect for summer parties.

In addition to a discerning wine selection, taste the excellent Cornish Mead, a honey-based alcoholic beverage enjoying a revival since it was first brewed in monasteries during the time of King Henry VIII. West Country ciders, real ale, locally produced gins and vodkas, cocktails and bottled beers from small producers all make an appearance on the menu.

Northbank's team are delighted to create bespoke event experiences for guests including corporate lunches/dinners, birthday parties, New Years Eve parties, wine-tastings, press events, summer parties and wedding receptions.  Total venue hire is available for up to 175 or book the terrace, restaurant or bar spaces exclusively.
