How to get there

Greenwich is well served by rail and bus. There is no tube into the town but the Docklands Light Railway travels as far as Island Gardens just the other side of the Thames. The little walk through the Thames Tunnel is an interesting way to get to Greenwich. Being on the river, there are a number of boating options. Greenwich is four miles from the city and so is relatively easy to drive to and park.
