Greenwich - Travel

Greenwich is well served by rail and bus . The Docklands Light Railway travels to Cutty Sark Station.
Being on the river, there are a number of boating options. Greenwich is four miles from the city and so is relatively easy to drive to, but parking can be difficult.

Rail
There is a Greenwich and a Maze Hill station. Greenwich station is to the west and Maze Hill to the east of of Greenwich Park. You can depart from Charing Cross, Cannon Street or London Bridge stations in central London.

Docklands Light Railway stops at Cutty Sark station and goes through to Lewisham.

Road
From the south east take the M25 J2 (or 1b) take the A207/A2 into London.
From the west or south take M25 J7 (M23) A23 into London.
From South London take the South Circular Road (A205) east.
From North London you can cross the Thames in the east at Tower Bridge, Rotherhithe Tunnel or Blackwall Tunnel.
