Maidenhead - Travel

Rail
There is a frequent service to Maidenhead Rail Station from most stations around Oxfordshire and Berkshire. Maidenhead has a direct link to London Paddington as well. Other than that, it is well served by Oxford, Reading, Ealing Broadway, Twyford, and Slough.

Bus
There is only one bus service to Maidenhead, the X39 Stagecoach, which comes into Maidenhead once an hour, generally at 18 minutes past. It does link up with Oxford, Henley, and London Heathrow airport, so the service is not too bad. The bus stops both in the town centre at Bridge Street and out next to the Thames Path.

Road
It is very easy to get to Maidenhead by car. The A4 motorway passes straight through town, and the M40 connects with the A404, which links up with Maidenhead as well. From the west and London you can take the M4, which again links up with the A404. Parking in the centre of Maidenhead is difficult and expensive.
