Bexley has excellent transport links, being served by frequent trains from the centre of London, plus a network of local buses which connect with the main rail stations in Bexley. The A2 and A20 connect Bexley with the centre of London and the M25 London Orbital and parking in the centre of Bexleyheath is plentiful.
Connex Rail Frequent trains run four times an hour linking Charing Cross Cannon Street and London Bridge or Victoria with Bexleyheath Station. Connex also run train services from Charing Cross to Dartford via Belvedere Erith and Slade Green and also through Bexley, Crayford and Sidcup. Buses Buses are the best way to see London from street level! Bexley has several bus services which traverse the borough and which link the outlying parts with the centre.
- No 422 connects North Greenwich Station on the Jubilee Line with the centre of Bexleyheath with its unique shopping precinct.
- The B11 connects the shopping centre with Abbey Wood and Thamesmead and the B12 service connects Erith to the centre of Bexleyheath. The B14 runs from Bexleyheath to Orpington via Sidcup, St Pauls Cray and St Mary Cray. The B16 runs from Bexleyheath to Kidbroke via Welling and Eltham.
- The 486 connects North Greenwich Station on the Jubilee Line with Welling via Charlton and Shooters Hill, and the 321 connects Foots Cray and Sidcup with Lewisham and New Cross Gate.

Road Links The A2 and A20 connect the centre of London with Bexley. There is available parking around the main attractions in Bexley, such as Bexleyheath shopping centre, Hall Place and Danson Mansion and the Crossness Pumping Station at Thamesmead. Bexley can also be reached from areas north of the River Thames via the Dartford River Crossing and the M25/A2 link.
