The River Thames & The Canal Connection

Along its journey from the Cotswolds to the sea the River Thames is joined by several man-made canals. These canals play a vital role in our lives in so many ways. They are all used by walkers and anglers, by boaters, cyclists and wild life enthusiasts. They are also vital for the transference of water from different parts of the country. The River Thames Guide seeks to explore the Canal Connection.

We hope that you will enjoy this new section of The River Thames Guide - please let us have your comments if you think we have forgotten anything.
