At 135 metres tall the British Airways London Eye is the World's tallest observation wheel, with views over London for over 60 miles on a clear day.  The ride takes about 30 minutes to complete the revolution of the wheel and it gives you spectacular views of the great city of London and its famous landmarks.

The British Airways London Eye is one of the most visually dramatic additions to the Capital's horizon.  The design is similar to a giant bicycle wheel with a central hub and spindle connected to outer and inner rims by fine cable spokes. However, at nearly three times as high as Tower Bridge and four times wider than the dome of St Paul's Cathedral it is over 200 times bigger than the average racing bike wheel.

It has quickly established itself as one of the two most visited tourist attractions in the whole of London - the other being the Tower of London of course. Tickets available on the day or in advance from 0870 5000 600.

Parking available underground at NCC but difficult.  Nearest Tube stations Embankment and Waterloo.
