Built in 1540 for Sir John Champneis a former Lord Mayor of London, this is a magnificent Grade 1 listed Tudor mansion, set in beautiful formal gardens. The Great Hall adjoins Bexley Museum and the Hall is also a venue for concerts and lectures. Open daily in Summer and Mon-Sat in winter. Admission free.
