The Red House was built in 1860 for William Morris, the Victorian artist and designer, who headed the Victorian Arts and Crafts Movement, and it retains much of its original décor and furniture. The Red House has recently been sold to the National Trust and can be visited by appointment. Details and current prices from the Booking Office on 01494 755588.
