The County Hall at Abingdon may be large, but St. Helen's Church puts even that to shame. Keeping watch over the town of Abingdon and probably across the entire Home Counties as well, this 13th century church is one landmark that you will find hard to miss.
It is reckoned that there is an even earlier church under the present one that dates from the 7th to 8th century.
