Mapledurham House & Watermill
Mapledurham Watermill is the last working corn and grist mill on the River Thames and is mentioned in the Domesday Book. The communities of Mapledurham relied once relied entirely on the mill during the 17th and 18th centuries. Now fully restored, the mill still grinds grain today and produces excellent whole wheat flour for sale in the gift shop, local bakers, farm shops etc.
The House and Watermill are open on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays from Easter Saturday until the end of Septermber and for previously arranged party visits midweek.
