Natural History Museum

Exhibition Road
South Kensington
SW7 5BD
www.nhm.ac.uk

This amazing museum is part of the museum complex in and around South Kensington which was set up at the instigation of Prince Albert - the consort of Queen Victoria -  using the profits which were engendered from the famous Great Exhibition of 1851.
The Natural History Museum is housed in a magnificent building and is great for children, housing as it does some of the largest dinosaurs ever found.  There are lots of "hands-on" exhibits for the kids to interact with and space age finds to awake their imaginations.

Nearest Tube Station: South Kensington
