The Florence Nightingale Museum tells the story of the challenging life and tremendous achievements of one of the nineteenth century's most important figures. Florence Nightingale not only established the modern profession of nursing but also became an inspiration for generations. Travel back to Victorian times through original objects, an interactive map, drawings and audio-visual material. Activity sheets are available for children. The shop sells a wide range of books, educational material and unique gifts. The Museum is located next to St Thomas's Hospital on the south side of the River Thames. A brisk walk across Westminster Bridge will get you there.
