Cliveden

This magnificent house and huge gardens overlook the River Thames just beyond Maidenhead, above the River Thames at Cookham.  The house was originally the home of the Astor family, whose most famous member was Lady Nancy Astor - she was the first woman to become a Member of Parliament.

The House is now functioning as a luxury hotel and is not open to visitors.
