Danson Park lies between Welling and Bexleyheath and was designed in the style of Capability Brown. It surrounds the magnificent Danson House which has been recently renovated by English Heritage. It offers a wide range of recreational facilities, for example rowing, sailing etc, plus a playground for children and refreshments, which are available in the Stable Block Restaurant (a Grade II listed building close to the Mansion.) Danson Park is the location for Bexley’s annual Danson Festival. Open daily. Admission free.
