The Thames Barrier Information Centre

Th information Centre is ideal for all the family. It features a working model of the Barrier and a video that shows its construciton, operation, and how it protects London from flooding. It also explains the wildlife and environment of the River. The Visitor Centre is located on the south (Greenwich) side of the river. You can also see the Barrier from a river cruise boat operated from Greeenwich Pier. Open 10.30am to 4.30pm summer months, 11.00am to 4.00pm Oct-March.
