Borough Market
Borough Market is located just south of London Bridge and near to Southwark Cathedral, and is a fascinating eclectic mix of small stalls and booths selling all kinds of food and fresh produce, wines and beers. It was used as a location for the first Harry Potter film.

The market was built in Victorian times and will repay a gentle stroll around all the stalls to see what there is to buy, eat or drink. Great fun, especially when the weather is less than kind! You can try all sorts of different foods such as pies, paella, Thai fish stew, mulled wine, bacon butties, Spanish and Italian goodies and you can buy wonderful meat and fish direct from the producers which taste so much better than the supermarket stuff....The market is always open Fridays Saturdays and Sunday mornings and is crowded with busy people so get there early. Parking virtually impossible but the market is right by London Bridge tube station and on several bus routes. Nearest Tube stations: London Bridge or Borough (Northern Line)
