Royal Opera House Covent Garden

This beautiful building is the home of the Royal Ballet and the Royal Opera and is located at the North east corner of the Covent Garden piazza.  The building has recently been the subject of a refurbishment costing millions of pounds.  The Floral Hall is open daily with exhibitions of photos and costumes worn by such stars as  Dame Margot Fonteyn.  The roof garden of the Floral Hall is a great place for pre-and post-performance drinks and offers a superb view of the West End of London.

Tickets for performances of both ballet and opera are still very expensive, but a few low-priced tickets are available for sale on the day of each performance.
