Set just outside Marlow in the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside, Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre is situated on the banks of the river Thames. A twelfth century Abbey, that was once home to Henry VIII, is a unique, intimate and romantic venue providing the perfect backdrop for any occasion. Our prestigious Abbey and grounds ensure that the wedding photography can provide the most beautiful and dramatic wedding pictures.

The Great Hall, delightful for your wedding breakfast has a 100ft high vaulted ceiling with a minstrel's gallery. The Warwick Room is a dark oak panelled room with a wooden floor, ideal for the more intimate meal, disco or band. The Margaret Dickinson Bar, Lounge and patio and the adjoining Sonning Room informally allows guests to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of this exceptional venue.

Bisham Abbey has a license for civil ceremonies to be held in our elegant Warwick room for up to 90 guests.
