Surrounded by 18 acres of immaculate formal gardens, Ham House was built in 1610 and was the home of the Duke and Duchess of Lauderdale. Steeped in history and atmosphere, the House has remained largely unchanged over 400 years.
Hold your Civil Ceremony, your reception, or both at Ham House and Garden and you will be joining the ranks of film directors and connoisseurs who find its charms irresistible. Imagine making your vows in the lavish surroundings of the Great Hall, then entertaining your guests in a beautifully decked out marquee in our picturesque Orangery garden.
Idyllically situated on the banks of the Thames in Richmond, Ham House offers the peace and tranquillity of the countryside a stone's throw from the heart of London.
Within the house the Great Hall, a splendid 17th century example of aristocratic grandeur and taste, is the perfect location for a wedding or civil partnership ceremony with up to 60 guests.
Receptions for up to 400 guests can take place in a marquee erected in the Orangery garden.
