Services
As well as boat building we can provide a full range of supporting services, from pay-as-you-go rowing skiff hire (run from our landing-stage in the heart of Historic Richmond) to filming on location.

Hourly Rentals
The idyllic peace of the River Thames is closer than you think! Rowing skiffs for hourly hire to carry 1, 2, 4, 6 or 8 persons are available throughout the season (March-October) on a first-come, first-served basis. Boats may also be reserved on request, including larger vessels to hold up to 12 persons. All boats are supplied with lifejackets if requested (compulsory for children).

Boat Hire (Including Weddings & Events)
Whether it be a wedding, birthday party, corporate entertainment or any other special occasion hire one or any number of our boats supplied with boatman. Full or part crew can also be hired dressed appropriately.

Film &TV Work
Richmond Bridge Boathouses are able to offer a wide range of unpowered craft for film and photographic work. Experienced boatmen are also available. Film work includes Our American Friends, Thomas Moore, Orlando and most recently Great Expectations. Please call us for a quote, if you have a specific craft in mind, we will be happy to advise you on historical context and suitability of purpose.

Moorings, Storage and Workshop Hire
Dry storage is available for unpowered craft at Richmond and nearby Hampton, all dry storage has easy access to the Thames. Moorings afloat for unpowered and small powered craft also available at both sites.
We can provide safe, secure workshop space on a short- or long-term basis, with convenient reach of the River Thames, South Circular, and mainline, suburban and Underground trains at Richmond Station.
