Archduke in South Bank

Archduke

The first restaurant and wine bar to open on London’s Southbank in 1979 and now part of the Black & Blue Restaurant Group, The Archduke remains a south London staple. With its unique and award-winning site carved from under the railway arches by Waterloo Station, it has become something of a London institution.

One of the London venues in which to hear free, live jazz with a daily-changing schedule, guests can enjoy a fantastic assortment of dishes including steaks and burgers, prepared daily in our own butchers’ shop.

We constantly work with our wine supplier to create an incredible list to complement our dishes and our bartenders are on hand to prepare you the perfect after-work cocktail.

Our proximity to venues such as the National Theatre and the Royal Festival Hall makes The Archduke the ideal location to have a pre-show bite to eat and drink with a carefully put together fixed-price menu. All of this – while looking out on to the iconic London Eye – just a stone’s throw from the restaurant.
